HUDDERSFIELD BLUES CLUB – DUST RADIO & GARY GRAINGER

1) DUST RADIO – raw, rootsy and with resolute groove, Dust Radio keep their sound stripped-back and authentic. Heavily influenced by the blues masters of the past, there are traces of Americana and contemporary rock ‘n’ roll in their music.

2) GARY GRAINGER – you might think that somebody who has just celebrated their 70th birthday should slow down & relax, right? Not so Gary Grainger. He got his first guitar when he was 9, did his first gig when he was 16, opened the show for Bill Haley & The Comets, played in club bands, country & western bands, punk bands – all kinds of bands!

More recently, after 4 years playing bass with The Herbal Remedy, lots of solo acoustic gigs in pubs, clubs and festivals, festival MC work and celebrating 14 years of the Award Winning Blues Show on BishopFM, Gary immediately started looking for more.
