A Tribute to The Beautiful South.

Tony – lead vocals

The grandad of the band, also it’s founder and huge fan of Paul Heaton, obviously!

As a mere novice, I’ve had to surround myself with talented musicians, coupled with Laney, who does a fantastic job of being both Briana and Jacqui!

From the start I’ve set out to try my best to give the audience an authentic tribute to Mr Heaton’s work,; from the early Housemartins tunes, the classics of The Beautiful South, right up to Heaton & Abbotts latest hits.

Meet the band:

Laney – Lead vocals

After a career on stage in a touring dance troupe as well as being a member of various bands as a vocalist, a reply to an audition advert brought Laney to the fold. I knew she was the one after only 25 seconds of her first rendition of Rotterdam, she is irreplaceable.

Danny – Bass/roadie/tech wizard

“The snake charmer” a multi talented musician, top bassist and a snake/lizard expert; he is an integral part of where we’ve come from to where we are now. You’ll always find him to the right of the stage, strutting his Stone Island attire!!

Tash – Drums/backing vocals

A native of Lincoln, “Little Imp” joined us 2 months ago and immediately fitted in, it was meant to be!! Tash has drummed with some big names such as Ranking Roger of The Beat, it’s an honour to have her.

Del – Guitar/backing vocals

Our guitarist has been with us for about 6 months and has also played with some big names, none more so than the legend Dave Hemmingway, supporting his new band The Sunbirds. An accomplished guitarist and vocalist he has a solo project of self penned acoustic tunes
