Most Christmas party venues in Huddersfield split into two camps: hotel function rooms that wind up at 11pm with a fixed three-course menu, or pub back rooms that cap at 60 people and shut the bar early. The main hall holds up to 650 standing or 200 seated, comfortably the largest Christmas party venue in central Huddersfield. The upstairs cafe bar is available as a breakout or quieter space for groups who want options through the evening.

For smaller teams (40 to 80), the venue can be partitioned to keep the room feeling full and intimate. For larger company events (200+), the main hall comfortably handles the headcount with room to spare.

Full bar service with a dedicated team for your event. In-house DJ available, or bring your own. Professional PA, full lighting rig and stage as standard. Bar-only hire. Use the space for a drinks reception or party with our bar service running throughout. Suitable for evening drinks events and standing-format parties.

Fully managed evening. We handle the lot, catering coordination, DJ, decor, bar, timings. You arrive, your team enjoys the night. Most popular for company parties where the organiser doesn’t want a second job.

If you’re booking for a company, the considerations are different. You need a venue your whole team can get to. A late finish so the night feels like a real one. A bar that runs efficiently when 100 people order at once. Production that turns the room into something Instagram-worthy without you having to organise it yourself.

Christmas Friday and Saturday dates in December book out first, most are confirmed by mid-October. If you have a specific date in mind, August or September is the safe window to lock it in.

Mid-week December dates and early-December weekends typically stay available longer and often work out more cost-effective. If your team has flexibility on date, there’s room to negotiate.

We’re at 38 Wakefield Road, Huddersfield HD1 3AQ, a short walk from Huddersfield train station and the town centre. Parking at A1 Parking behind the Premier Inn (24-hour) or the university car park on Wakefield Road from 5:30pm. The central location matters for company events, most employees can get to and from the venue without taxis.
