We get it, not every corporate event needs to feel like a corporate event. If you’re after something with more energy than a hotel conference room and a fold-out projector screen, we can help.

Our main hall is a live entertainment venue with a professional stage, sound system and lighting rig. It’s built for events where the atmosphere matters: awards nights where the production quality matches the occasion, team celebrations that actually feel like a night out, product launches with real impact, and charity events that raise serious money because the room’s buzzing with energy.

The Space

The Main Hall  holds up to 250 seated or 650 standing. The stage, PA and lighting are permanent installations, we use them every week for our live music programme, so they’re always maintained and ready to go. Whether you need a podium for presentations, a stage for entertainment, or just a big, well-equipped room, it’s all here.

The Cafe Bar  upstairs seats up to 60 (80 standing) and works well for smaller team events, networking drinks and after-work gatherings.

Both spaces are available during the day and evening. Midweek dates (Monday to Wednesday) tend to have the best availability, as we run live events mainly from Thursday to Sunday.

Yes. Both spaces are available for daytime hire. Monday to Wednesday usually has the best availability.

The main hall comes with a professional PA system, stage and lighting. For specific bits like projectors and screens, just get in touch and we’ll talk through what you need.

Yes. A1 Parking behind the Premier Inn on Wakefield Road is the closest option. The university car park on Wakefield Road is also available from 5:30pm weekdays and all day at weekends.
